Kristen Anne Bell is an American actor and singer born in the year 1980. Bell is an Michigan native born and fostered by her parents, Lorelei Frygier (a nurse) as well as Tom Bell (a TV news director). Her family ancestry includes Polish (mother) and German, English, Irish, and Scottish (father). Kristen realized her potential in the world of entertainment in her early years. In 1992, Kristen went to her very first audition. She was given an appearance in Raggedy Ann And Andy. Bell was accepted by her mother as an agent at the age of was just 13 years old. Bell was later selected for newspapers ads as well as commercials on TV. In the same year she began taking training in private acting. Bell had an uncredited role in the film Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell attended Shrine Catholic High School where she took part in musical and drama clubs. The Wizard of Oz was staged by her high school and she took home the part as Dorothy. Bell later moved into New York City, to the Tisch School of the Arts. She was a musical theatre student at the Tisch School of the Arts. Bell quit college in 2001 when she took the role of Becky in the film Tom Sawyer. That is the year she made her first credited debut with Pootie Tang (2001), but her scene was cut and her appearance exists only in the credit sequence. Bell appeared in Broadway in The Crucible, a revival that featured Liam Neeson with Angela Bettis.
