Linda Edna Cardellini is the daughter of Lorraine (Hernan), a mother, and Wayne David Cardellini (a father) who is an entrepreneur. Her parents are Italian (from a paternal grandfather), Irish (from a mother), German and English. Linda was raised in San Francisco Bay and grew to become the smallest of four children. In her tenth year, she began to be fascinated by acting, when she performed in school plays. Then she began to appear in community and school stage productions. Linda went to Saint Francis High School Mountain View California. After she graduated she had to make a decision between moving to New York or Los Angeles to study theatre. Linda decided to move to LA. Linda was cast first as a character on Bone Chillers (1996). The year 1999 saw her land her first big role as Lindsay Weir, a character from the show Freaks and Geeks. Lily James (born Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson on 5 April 1989) is an English actress from the UK. She received her training at London's Guildhall School of Music and Drama and started her career with the British television show Just William (2010). In the following years, she starred in the role of Lady Rose MacClare in the period drama series Downton Abbey (2012-2015), her breakthrough was the title role in the fantasy film Cinderella (2015). James was later cast as Countess Natasha Rostova in the television adaptation of War & Peace (2016) as well as starring in various films. These included the action film Baby Driver (2017), the period dramas Darkest Hour (2017), The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society (2018) and The Dig (2021), as well as the musicals Mamma Mia! We Go Again 2018 and Yesterday (2019). The role she played as Pamela Anderson in the biographical show Pam & Tommy (2022) was nominated for the Golden Globe and a Primetime Emmy Award.
